Texas Tech HSC Public Health Week

The Student Public Health Association at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center hosts events each year to commemorate National Public Health Week. This year we will have events on and off campus everyday. The week will start with a community health workers lecture, a donation drive for children with traumatic brain injury, and a film on rural health and immigration. There will be a pledge wall all week for students, faculty, and visitors to make their pledges towards a healthier nation and then there will be a climate change panel with some of our leading researchers from the HSC and Texas Tech University. We will wrap up the week by supporting the National Eating Disorder Association with their walk on Saturday and will conclude our week with a volunteering event at one of our community gardens. The events will be from April 1-7 and all are invited to RSVP on our Facebook page.
