Public Health Week

Public Health Week is a weeklong event that Texas Public Health hosts annually to promote public health on UT’s campus. The week starts out with carnival-themed health education activities and preventative services such as blood drives and free STI screenings. For Networking Fair, the second event of the week, businesses and nonprofits are invited to spread awareness about the diverse field of public health. Global Health Night, the third event, consists of a silent auction, cultural performances, global health presentations, and finger food from around the world. Operation Naloxone, the fourth event hosted by the College of Pharmacy, provides training for opioid overdose, and information about opioids, addiction, and prevention. The 2019 series is scheduled for April 1st-4th.
