Student Health Advocacy Day in Montpelier

In celebration of National Public Health Week (April 7–13, 2025), the Vermont Public Health Association is hosting an event for college students and young professionals! Here’s what you need to know:

11:00-11:45: Panel Discussion: The event will start with a discussion on National Public Health Week, highlighting its significance. Panelists will offer practical advice on advocacy and lobbying, helping participants feel confident when engaging with legislators.
11:45-12:15: Lunch and Student Discussion: Join us for pizza, salad, and cookies while networking with other students.
12:15-12:55: Conversation with the legislators: Students will have the opportunity to ask questions and share concerns with Vermont state legislators on topics of interest.
