Measles 2025: Cases, Communication, & Consumer Outreach

As of March 20, 2025, there were 378 confirmed measles cases in 18 jurisdictions, primarily in children under 19 years of age who were unvaccinated. This webinar, organized by the APHA School Health and Wellness Section, will provide an update on the rapidly spreading cases and outbreaks of this highly contagious disease; measles communication strategies and social media tracking of mis- and disinformation; and tips for writing op-eds to inform consumers about vaccination as the most effective measles prevention strategy.
