WEBINAR: Building Trust and Trustworthiness in Public Health, presented by APHA Sections and Council of Affiliates

Trustworthiness of public health and trust in public health are social determinants of health. Historically, the public health field has struggled to restore trust after failing to effectively engage communities and provide responsive services, particularly with marginalized populations and communities experiencing injustice.

Learn how to build trust and and sustain trustworthiness as public health professionals and agencies in this 90-minute webinar co-sponsored by numerous APHA Sections and the Council of Affiliates. Speakers will draw on lessons from COVID-19 prevention, HIV/AIDS programs, social work, public health advocacy and other disciplines.
