Solving Complex Public Health Problems with an Innovation Lab Approach

The Public Health Education and Health Promotion (PHEHP) Section presents the National Public Health Week webinar, “Solving Complex Public Health Problems with an Innovation Lab Approach.” This one-hour webinar will provide APHA members with an overview of the importance of innovation and creativity to solve public health problems and how a volunteer group of public health professionals came together to implement an Innovation Lab approach to identify and implement solutions to a complex problem while also building leadership skills. Founding members of the PHEHP Innovation Lab, Amanda Kimball and Samantha Cinnick, will describe the process, lessons learned, and future directions for the next iteration of the initiative.
